Lounge power points dead

Customer report
The two power points by the lounge window stopped working. The one by the door still works. Kitchen and bedrooms are fine. Nothing has tripped.
Circuit
Radial 20 A power circuit from an RCBO in the switchboard. GPO 1 (by the door) loops on to GPO 2, then GPO 3 (by the window). Nothing is plugged in at GPO 2 or 3.

Find the fault with the fewest tests, working safely. The fault is different each time. Every test costs 2 points, unsafe steps cost more.

Safety actions
